It was an early Sunday Morning start for Footys4all today. We headed to Port Phillip Prison for the behind bars cricket/positive mentoring program with special needs prisoners. Thanks to Michelle Enbom for all the support.

Today we joined with Epilepsy foundation General Manager, Jeremy Maxwell , Collingwood AFL cheersquad leader, Footys4All volunteer and Epilepsy community ambassador, Joffa and Authentic Autographs memorabilia's, David Sumiga to frame the first ever gold jacket worn by Joffa. Thanks for your generous support David. We are so thankful and grateful for all of David's support in framing up this jacket for Joffa.

Thanks to a bunch of dedicated volunteers we now run weekly mentoring clinics at Parkville Juvenile Justice Centre.  The Footys4All Sporting/ Positive Mentoring clinics are run by many of our youth volunteers who give up their time to mentor youth in need. Among them we have Aberfeldie Football Club’s, Harry Pound, Matthew McLaughlin, Molly, April and Emily. It is so important for youth in detention to have positive youthful role models so they can learn positive behaviours and know it’s not just us oldies that care. Our volunteers were welcomed with respect and thanked for giving up their time to provide the youths with a sporting opportunity. Every time we see or hear this we know that we are making a difference. We thank the inspirational, caring and compassionate Tracey Clark for organising all our visits and supporting all our positive volunteer mentoring Footys4all sporting clinics. Footys4all uniting the world through the power of sport. Nelson Mandela was right again when he said sport speaks to youth in a language that they understand.
