AFL Essendon Legend Michael Long Joins Footys4all

Michael Long joins the Footys4all Foundation as its latest sporting ambassador. Michael started his career at the St Mary's in the NTFL before playing for West Torrens in the SANFL. Michael was then drafted to Essendon in 1989 where he played 190 games and kicked 143 gls. He was the VFL rookie of the year in 1989 and won two premierships with Essendon in 1993 and the year 2000. He was adjudged best player in the 1993 grand final and was awarded the Norm Smith Medal. Michael was also inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame in 2007.
Michael understands the power of sport and the opportunities that are provided through children playing with a ball. We enthusiastically spoke about many ideas about how the Footys4all Foundation can provide sporting opportunities to the children of the Northern Territory. Footys4all Flemington Cricket clinic

State Labor Member for Niddrie Ben Carroll, Victoria Police's Moonee Valley Youth Resource Office Del King, Cricket Victoria's Community Manager Ben Abbatangelo joined with the Footys4all team consisting of founding director Michael Gallus, Director's Amanda Gallus and Irene Packer, Carlton Premier Cricketer Cam Stevenson, youth ambassadors Thomas Gallus, Ryan James, Patrick Carrier,Mitchell Celantano, Mitchell Podhajski, Cricket ambassador Jake Barr and Footys4all international manager Anthony Norman in providing sporting opportunities to the children of the Flemington high rise flats through the Footys4all cricket clinic. All 30 children of the program left with a new tennis ball, cricket hat and or T-Shirt thanks to the Footys4all Foundation and the Aberfeldie Cricket Club.

Professor Robert Moodie and Dr Nathan Grills join Footys4all.

Leaders in World Health from Melbourne University in Professor Rob Moodie-Professor Rob Moodie is Professor of Public Health at the Melbourne School of Population Health. Prior to this he was the inaugural Chair of Global health at the Nossal Institute and Dr Nathan Grills- from Melbourne University's Nossal Institute for Global Health recognise the importance of being extended the Footys4all hand of friendship and sporting opportunity and agree to become our latest ambassadors to the Footys4all Foundation. We thank them for their support and belief in our mission to unite the world through children's sport.

Essendon Nissan supply Footys4all with a new king cab ute

18th February 2019

We are proud to announce a sponsorship with Essendon Nissan through dealership owner Tony Sitch who have supplied us with a Nissan King Cab Ute, fully registered, insured and with Nissan roadside assistance. The Nissan King Cab ute will be used to transport balls to kids in need. The Footys4all Foundation Patron Joshua Toy proudly accepted the keys from Essendon Nissan's Tony Sitch. We are extremely humbled by this gesture from Essendon Nissan and thank them for their belief in the foundation. We would like to thank Nick Lo-Presti, Novak Jankovic and Luciano Capasso for their help in putting this sponsorship together and we commend Essendon Nissan for giving back to the community in this way. The good people in the community who continue to become involved in the Footys4all foundation continue to inspire us all here at Footys4all Central to redouble our efforts to grow the foundation even further.
